Description
Alley Cat originated from the cross of a maternal plant derived from Wildwood Kentucky Bluegrass and paternal lineage of Baron Kentucky Bluegrass. Alley Cat exhibits improved disease resistance showing significantly better resistance to Stripe Smut and Powdery Mildew than Baron or Baron types. Alley Cat has excellent seedling vigor for quick establishment. Alley Cat mixes well with Perennial Ryegrass and Fine Fescue for use in home lawns, parks and other turf applications where bluegrass is desired.
