Description
Expedition Turf Type tall fescue was selected out of Rutgers University germplasm based on its dark, open turf and disease resistance. It was cycled in Griffin, Georgia for high shoot density and drought tolerance. It proved to be more heat and drought tolerant. It was also selected for and exhibits some spreading activity.
Expedition has high endophyte levels, which makes it a very persistent and tolerant tall fescue even under stress. Expedition exhibits high traffic tolerance, which makes it an excellent choice for sports fields and other high traffic areas. Look for yourself and you will see that Expedition is one of the better tall fescues available today.
